Linda Duffield began her distinguished military career in 1979 with the United States Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force. Her dedication to service, resilience, and leadership marked a remarkable journey through two branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Coming from a proud heritage of German-Russian immigrant families, Linda’s commitment to her country was part of a family tradition. Several men in her extended family also served in the U.S. military, each contributing to the legacy of service and sacrifice: Peter Bitter in the U.S. Marines, Raymond Hergenrader in the U.S. Navy, Robert Klemm in the U.S. Army, and Conrad Bitter in the U.S. Army.
Linda’s career reflects her commitment to duty, honor, and the values of both the Army and Air Force.
