John Seib
Staff Sergeant John Seib served honorably in the United States Army during World War II from March 3, 1941, to October 2, 1945. Deployed to the Asiatic Pacific Theatre, he played a significant role in the challenging campaigns of the Pacific front. He received several commendations for his bravery and dedication, including the Bronze Star, American Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one star. His service was a source of pride for his family, as his brother, Elmer Seib, also served in World War II. Staff Sergeant Seib’s legacy is a testament to his courage and commitment to his country during one of the most challenging periods in world history.
